What you need to back up photos & videos
- Good internet connectedness.
- File sizes that tin be backed up. Your files won't exist backed up if they are:
- Photos larger than 200 MB or 150 MP

There are 2 ways to support your phone, photographic camera, or storage card from your computer:
- Install Backup and Sync.
- Upload photos from your browser.
Gear up Google Drive for desktop
- On your computer, download and install Google Bulldoze for Desktop.
- Sign in to your Google Business relationship.
- Select the folders or pictures you want to support
Back up to Google Photos.
- Select Done
Salve.
Important:
- If you remove a photo or video from your calculator that y'all previously backed upwardly to Google Photos, it stays in Google Photos.
- If y'all remove a photo or video from Google Photos, it isn't removed from Google Drive or your estimator.
- Uploads can be slower and employ more storage if you back up to both Google Photos and Google Drive. Unless you lot need a second re-create in Drive, we recommend you back up photos and videos to Google Photos.
If you already have Backup and Sync for Drive
Backup and Sync is now Google Drive for desktop.

Back up your Apple Photograph Library (Mac only)

Tips:

Upload items to Google Photos from your browser
- On your calculator, open photos.google.com.
